       22 Июля, 1805 года, Монарх Российского престола Александр Павлович даровал нашим предкам Молоканам религиозную свободу.
       22 Июля, 2005 года, Духовный Совет Союза ДХМ в России решил провести трехдневное торжество с молитвой в Центральном доме молитвы в селе Кочубеевское в честь 200-летнего юбилея.
       Сегодния, 13 января 2001 года Организационный комитет съезда приглашает всех Духовных Хрисиан Молокан из любого конца России и всего мира, и просит, чтобы существующие различия в наших служениях не разделили нас. Наши церкви рождены от Духа Святого, они едины и неделиты в Духе. В этом отношении Орг Комитет решил объявить пост по всем общинам ДХМ 15-16-17 марта 2001 года.
       Несмотря на четырехлетний срок до съезда, нам предстоит разработать и решить массу материальных, финансовых, и личных вопросов. Сегодня ограничется сообщением, что вокруг села Кочубеевское в радиусе 20 километров находятся 4 общины ДХМ, где можно рэместить всех приезжих. В Кочубеевское можно приехать из любого конца России и ближнего зарубежья на поезду (станция Богословская в селе Кочубеевское, станция г. Невинномысск). Аэропорт в городе Ставрополь — 80 км. международный аэропорт в г. Минеральные Воды — 120 км. от Кочубеевского.
       Мы знаем, что очень многие не владеют русским языком. Молитвы будут совершаться на всех языках с помощью переводчиков.

[Fast with prayers, 15-17 March, 2001]

       In the year 1805, His Majesty, the King of All Russias, Aleksandr Pavlovich, decreed freedom of religion to all Molokans. [See note below.]
       On 13 July, year of our Lord 2005, the Spiritual Committee of the Center, Spiritual Christian Molokans (SCM) decided to conduct a three-day celebration with a prayer at the Center of SCM of Russia at Kochubeevskoe, to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Royal edict of freedom for our ancestors.
       Today, January 13, 2001, The Action Committee extends an invitation to all SCMs throughout Russia and the world, without regard to the existing differences in services. Our churches originate from the Holy Spirit, they are one, and indivisible in Spirit In this regard, the Action Committee invites all churches to observe a Fast with prayers on 15-16-17 March, year 2001.
      Despite the four-year lead before the anniversary we have to solve many major organizational, financial and personnel problems. [Also see invitation to the 2002 Youth Congress and 200-year Congress.]
       Today we will touch on local conditions: There are 4 SCM churches within a 20 km radius of Kochubeevskoe and will accommodate most of the delegates. You can use rail transportation to the Bogoslovskaya station at Kochubeevskoe or to the Nevinnomyssk station; by air to Stavropol' or the International airport at Mineralnie Vodi — 120 km from Kochubeevskoe. We are aware that many delegates do not speak Russian. Prayers and sermons will he conducted in a number of languages — assisted by interpreters as required.

In 1805, Aleksander I Romanov (1801-25) removed the felony crime of religious thought for sectarians. Sectarians are Russians who denied the Orthodox belief. But the Tsar kept the felony crime of evangelism, spreading any non-Orthodox belief among Russians. So the sectarians — mostly Molokans and Doukhobors — could now believe what they wanted, as long as they kept it to themselves. But, some sectarians continued to evangelize, breaking the law. Since about half of all serfs belonged to the Tsar (called "state serfs"), he ruled that his serfs who did not want to be Orthodox and who did not qualify for the military, could voluntarily isolate themsleves by moving south. This policy was more Chrstian than arresting and punishing them, as was done previously. The Tsar even offered them more land to move to South Russia, at the edge of the Black Sea. But again, some Orthodox were seduced by the "infectious heresy" — they married and joined sectarians. So the law got stricter. Begining in the 1840s, sectarians were further voluntarily isolated among people who would not understand them — to the Caucasus and to Siberia — where they could not evangelize. But, even in Armenia some natives joined the Jumpers. What confuses some oral histories is that other serfs fled Central Russia to hide among the sectarians — run-away non-state serfs, draft dodgers, and criminals.
